About the Event

Welcome to the Rocky Mountain Rendezvous (RMR)! We are proud to offer what many consider one of the top two regional job fairs in the country for geologists and geophysicists. The event is hosted by the University of Wyoming’s Department of Geology & Geophysics and School of Energy Resources. Each year, the RMR gets rave reviews from both students and recruiters alike. We hope you’ll consider joining us for our next event.

The next Rocky Mountain Rendezvous will take place Sunday, September 20 – Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

This year, the RMR will be a three-day event with a networking lunch, vendor expo, onsite interviews, welcome reception and poster viewing room. Please view the agenda for additional information.

Participating companies will be given access to student registration information and resumes and will contact students directly to schedule onsite interviews. Students are encouraged to register early, as space is limited.

Important Dates and Information

  • Registration will open on Wednesday, July 29
  • No refunds will be Wednesday, July 19*
  • Resumes will be distributed to companies by August 24
  • Walk-In Registrations will not be accepted

*Please note: We will encourage companies to contact students as early as possible to confirm interviews. However, due to the limited number of job positions and interviews available, we cannot guarantee interview spots. The RMR registration fee is payment to have your resume distributed to company recruiters. Interviews are not guaranteed, and refunds will not be given after August 17, 2020.
